2024 (First Cohort) Graduation Ceremony

Friday, 19th July, 2024 marked the Wema Vocational Skills Training, class of 2024 (first cohort) graduation ceremony. The event, which was held at the Wema Centre Hall, honored the efforts of 36 students, who completed a comprehensive course in Catering & Housekeeping-25 (16 female; 9 male), Tailoring & Dressmaking-11 (9 female; 2 male) and Life Skills & Entrepreneurship.

During the event, learners received words of encouragement from their respective trainers, Wema Staff and parents who commended the students on completing the course and impressed the need for them to be deliberate in looking for employment opportunities and starting income generating activities using skills acquired.

All graduates were issued with certificates of completion, while best performing students in each course were appreciated with gifts. The ceremony was closed with a vote of thanks from Catering class student Webster Muloli, before the procession enjoyed a delicious lunch to close the ceremony.
