Wema Centre rolled out the red carpet for its esteemed guests during the 2023 Gala Dinner. The event, which raises much needed funds for our life saving programs that target street connected children was held at the Upscale PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort. In attendance was the Chief Guest Hon. Flora Mbetsa Chibule, special guest EALA MP Hon Hassan Omar and representatives from local companies whose generous support enables us to reach street connected children with health care, education, nutrition, emergency shelter, family tracing and reunification services.
Our treasured guests were treated to engaging and exciting entertainment from Dj Masha and the Wema Children Choir/Drama Troupe. The spectacular evening also included performances from Richie Sax, who serenaded the audience over high quality dinner, an auction and this year we included a raffle that saw guests win amazing prizes.
