Wema Centre Girls Learn How To Code

A group of 25 Wema girls attended Africa code week workshop on 30th October at the Swahili Pot Hub, Mombasa. The workshop, organized by PwaniTeknowgalz and sponsored by Eskills4girls was aimed at introducing girls to basic computer coding skills as part of the continent-wide initiative meant to foster digital literacy and spark the interest of African children, teenagers and young adults in software coding.

They had fun learning and exploring HTML in Designing, Creating and structuring their own websites!
